Description

SUMMARY

The Industrial Maintenance Technician II will be responsible for performing a variety of duties to
include the install, troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of production and facility equipment in a safe
manner. This individual will help drive maintenance excellence for the entire facility, working to ensure the
overall effectiveness of the facility and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES

Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas
Aid in the development and perform scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment
Read and interpret equipment manuals/schematics and work orders to perform required maintenance and service
Actively participate in process improvements initiatives
Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments
Understand root cause of issues and develop long term fixes
Communicate effectively with operations and the rest of the maintenance organization using established processes (i.e. maintenance tickets)
Perform effectively in a team or individually to meet deadlines and site objectives
Support training efforts of operations and maintenance teams
Communicate with vendors effectively for supported equipment
Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills Knowledge and Expertise

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma or GED required.
Ability to perform well under pressure.
2+ years bindery, and digital press or other relevant maintenance experience
Must be very detailed oriented.
Good comprehension and communication skills – including written and verbal with the ability to interpret and comply with written and verbal instructions.
Possess mechanical and electrical aptitude including use of multimeter and mechanical tools
Should be able to work as a team as well as independently to meet deadlines and timeframes.
Must be dependable and have the ability to change work schedule on short notice

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

● Ability to stand and walk frequently.
● Ability to bend, stoop, reach and lift up to 50lbs frequently..
● Ability to use hand and power tools
